Roger Dale Overstreet Sr., 73, of Bedford, Virginia, has died on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
He was born in Bedford, VA on October 26, 1952, to the late Ishmael and Nettie Overstreet.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Elaine Overstreet; four brothers; two sisters; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Overstreet (Jeremy); two sons, Roger Overstreet Jr. and Timmy Brads (Andrea); nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends, and a special appreciation is extended to Dennis and Pat for their support during his final moments.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Peak Church Community Cemetery, with Rev. Rick Dellinger officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Burch-Messier Funeral Home, Bedford.
